I am tired of putting in so much effort to be your friend when you will never return the favor. I text you to hang out and you never text me back, then you act like everything is normal when I see you in person. I don’t know how long I am going to put up with this bullshit. Its becoming obvious how much you don’t care.   

I caught myself saying these words in my head when I glanced at him.

“You’re so beautiful.
You’re SO beautiful.”

The conversation around me faded to nothingness, the faces at the table ceased to exist, time was reduced to a figment.
All I wanted was to put my hand on his flushed cheek, turn his face to me, dive into his eyes and let it roll out of me in a wave of admiration

“You’re so beautiful.”

The sight of his name on my screen makes my stomach sick. My heart is still racing and my stomach is churning. Hearing him approaching to unlock his door, anticipating his ocean eyes had me feeling seasick.

Oh god.
